We had morning coffee at the hotel and walked around in the city after that. Headed to La Paradeta for lunch. It is known to be one of my favourite places in Barcelona and I was already very excited about it. We got the second place in the queue, and by the time the restaurant was opened, there were a good 10-15 people behind us.
We ordered deep fried baby octopus (super good), boiled octopus (well, we actually expected grilled or fried…), grilled tuna (melted in mouth), navajos and wine. It was so good. So. Good.
We walked around the old town some more, drank hot chocolate and shopped for some hand painted ceramics.
Later in the evening, we tried again to get churro hot dogs, but it turned out that they are not available at 19:00, tourists should please come back at 22:00. The tourists then walked to a nearby Mexican restaurant and ate tacos.
