Good Morning, Vietnam! #HUI

In the morning we woke up before rooster, dawn and little Vietnamese to be able to finish breakfast before it's time to go to airport. The usual huge plate of fruits, fried dumplings with sweet milk, jogurt, muesli, fresh juice and coffee. Packed the stuff and went down to check out. The receptionist printed out the bill and explained all the row, like one bottle of water from the minibar and then ten dollar discount for the sweage issue, which he is very sorry for that it happened and caused us all those inconveniences.

The drive to the airport like also the flight itself were pretty non-exciting. Apart from the lady in my row, who boarded and instead of waiting in the aisle until I get up and let her take the wníndow seat, she pressed herself almost on my lap and pointed disapprovingly to her seat, where she most likely wanted to go. I kindly asked her to get off my laptop, so I could get up and let her pass. The rest of the flight I had to share my legroom with the bare foot of her husband.

In the hotel in Hue we found that the little Vietnamese had sold us bus tickets instead of train tickets. We did not want to go with the bus as life has shown that in this part of the world 9AM bus usually departs not before 3PM and makes 2 lunch breaks on a 100km trip. So we walked into the first booking agency to get train tickets. The guy there seated us, poured us some warm water and after hearing where our interest lies, started to draw map and railroad on a paper. After that he spent 10 minutes online to find out the price for the tickets. Meanwhile, to not just laugh out loud at all the drawing, we looked around and found that there are also road trips to Hoi An. The guy had figured out the ticket price, but we had already changed the mind. So, he had to grab paper and pen again. We booked the road trip and negotiated drop off at our hotel in Hoi An too. We'll see.

Walked some in the town (very nice) and around citadel (very big) and back to the hotel. After a little break we were ready to attack restaurants again and had some spring rolls and fruits in a nearby restaurant. A short walk to the nearest night market and back to the hotel.
