Bonjour, Mauritius. 50 shades of red on the pleasure boat

For today we had booked the three island trip, about what the girl in tour agency honestly assured that the third island we will see only passing by it, but it's very picturesque and we can take great photos there. She also asked us to be in the office at 8:20am next day to start the island trip. The somewhat higher level person in office frowned on that and the time of arrival was postponed to 8:30am.

When we were there at 8:30 share, we were, what a surprise, the first ones. About 5 minutes later the girl arrived who was supposed to free the scooter deposit and also the drivers, who would drive us to the beach for the 8:30am starting tour. We arrived there at around 8:50am and as expected, nothing but waiting was happening there. And a little rain. By 9:30am the people were transported with rubber boats to the catamaran and we could sail off. Being a wise travelling, who doesn't want to lick the sunburn wounds later, I chose us seats on the side of the boat, right under the ceiling. Most of other tourists made their way to the front of the catamaran, wearing just the bikini in that blazing sun. Two elderly chubby French ladies took theid covers off and wearing just bikini that didn't unfortunately cover much, climbed on the seats on their knees and started taking pictures. When taking off, we were warned that the crew won't be responsible when the waves hit over board and soak our bags and we should rather bring them down to keeo the things dry. They also asked us not to swim to the open sea once we arrive on the island, because it's difficult to find your way back from Madagascar.

We made it to the first island, where they once again transported us with rubber boats to the land and gave us 1,5 hours there, which also included lunch. We walked along the beach, I went for a swim, Scott went to snorkel and then it was time to have lunch. We got really delicious grilled fish on sticks and they also had some hard liquer on offer. Whole slice of pinapple for dessert! Impressive, what else can I say. I left Scott at the table and walked along the beach to the other direction. Unbelievable, how many gorgeous colors there were in the sea - from light and dark blue to turqouise green.

Another trip on the rubber boat and we landed on the Gabriel Island, where we had few more snorkleling rounds. "We" is sort of conditional phrase here, because my style of snorkeling is feet safely on the ground and then very carefully woth the mark on and feet ideally still on the ground I move forward. If I get to shallower area, I might get brave and even float on the water. Anyway, I saw some really nice and colorful fish that Scott pointed out and then went out to find a toilet. Or bush number two.

One and half hour sailing back while once again enjoying the backsides of the chubby French ladies and their huge boobs in tiny bikini, falling out any minutes, quick trip to the supermarket, back to the hotel and watching the sunset on our beach.

While undressing the hotel it turned out that despite all the measurements taken, the skin was like 50 shades of red. We covered it with aloe vera, hoping that by tomorrow it would be reduced to pink shades.
