Our
lazy, let's do nothing day started by climbing to the top of the nearby
hill, to the ruins of the monastery of 40 saints. We got a total of
approx. 12,000 steps and beautiful views from the top of the mountain.
The monastery itself was only a few pieces of ruins.
After the monastery tour, we went to the beach. And of course not to the one we have in front of the hotel. We walked at least 10 minutes to a much better and more private beach. It was pleasantly empty. The water was also nice and warm. And the water slippers are a great buy on those stoney beaches here.
For dinner we chose burgers, because, well, why focus on local cuisine in Albania when there are burgers.
