Go Blue. Halloween vol. 2

We had planned to go to Detroit, check out our favourite abandoned buildings, eat in our favourite restaurants, take a walk on the Belle Isle. Well, plan better! There was a marathon in Detroit that day that closed the entire city center and riverside.

We still went to Indian Village, watched the squirrels and the house of The White Stripes (since I've never been the target audience of this band, I can't remember if it's Meg's or Jack's). In any case, they have decorated their house with skeletons, which will be wearing red hats for Christmas and probably red hearts for Valentine's Day. I haven't seen the latter, I just guess based on Christmas hats.

While about two-third of households set pumpkins on the front porch and hang a skeleton to the tree, there are also a number of people who start setting up their displays months earlier and create a real horror show in the yard.

As soon as the summer is over, the decoration of houses and front yards will kick off in this country. Some put out some colourful leaves, a few pumpkins and a skeleton, all the while others have a much more dedicated approach to creating both, the autumn and Halloween displays.
